Founded in 1966 by Larry Sharpe, the company was built on determination, grit and an unwavering work ethic. After leaving school following the third grade to help support his family, Larry learned early that hard work, honesty and treating people right mattered most. In the early 1990s, Martha Sharpe joined him in growing the business into a trusted Midlands name in septic and well services.
After Larry’s passing in 2016, Martha carried the company forward until the torch was passed to Randi Hall. Today, as Sharpe’s celebrates its 60th anniversary, the owners, alongside the employees, are honored to preserve Larry and Martha’s legacy and the values that have defined the company for six decades.
As a third-generation, family-owned business, Sharpe’s provides septic installation, pumping, repairs and inspections, along with well drilling and service, grease interceptors, sewer lift stations, grading, hauling and precast tanks. Every property and customer receives personal attention, whether the team is handling routine maintenance or responding to an emergency.
That reputation was earned one job at a time through hard work, integrity and standing behind every project. This dedication helped Sharpe’s earn a 2026 Best of South Carolina Honorable Mention Award and the loyalty of generations of customers.
