Brubaker's Cafe and Bakery LLC

Brubaker's served our first cup of coffee in July of 2020 at the American Legion Farmer's Market on Artillery Drive in Sumter.

However, we had been planning since 2016 to open. We filed paperwork with the state in 2018 to establish our LLC and we were about to sign papers on a location when things seemed to fall through and our plans were put on hold. Two years later covid upset countless lives, including ours, and during the wake of those changes we decided to turn to what we knew would keep us going; our community. With masks in hand, we went out and started selling coffee and pastries under South Sarolina cottage food laws.

Since then, we have moved from a semi-permanent proof of concept to now opening our own standalone store.

We worked hard and turned what was once an employee break area and office into

Sumter's Best Coffee Shop 2 years in a row.

We are excited to continue serving for years to come, meeting more of our neighbors, and watching Sumter grow.
