Foothills Dance Conservatory

Since 1998 Foothills Dance Conservatory has been training the next generation of dancers in the upstate. From young first-time dancers to preprofessional dancers, FDC provides instructors who have danced professionally themselves or who are currently professional dancers. Guest artists of the highest caliber are brought in for the summer intensive the first two weeks of June and throughout the year.  FDC dancers have many authentic performance opportunities throughout the year. For the second year, our year end Concert, Movement in the Mountains, performed at the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts on the Clemson University Campus, will include the Charlotte Ballet. It is very unique to find a school of our reputation in a rural area. We are proud to boost 15 FDC students have gone on to have professional dance careers.
