Child Development Ministry

The Child Development Ministry (CDM), a ministry of First Methodist Church, provides quality childcare and early education for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years old. Guided by qualified teachers, we nurture each child’s social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual development in a warm, safe, and faith-centered environment.

We believe play is the language of children and the foundation of learning. Through developmentally appropriate practices, children build confidence, independence, trust, social responsibility, and an appreciation for others.

At CDM, we value every child and family and are committed to maintaining low teacher-to-child ratios because we believe in quality over quantity, allowing each child to receive the attention, care, and support they deserve.
