The Ultimate Driving Museum

A car museum in your own backyard! The Ultimate Driving Museum is located in Greer, SC across the street from the BMW Factory. We are a division of the BMW CCA Foundation, a 501(c)3 non profit. Our passion is BMW everything! Our love for BMW has drawn us to collecting and preserving BMW history via our Library and Archives. 

The Ultimate Driving Museum showcases different archive items within the exhibits that change annually. This allows us to show you not just a garage full of cars, but also showcasee art on the walls, exhibit specific memorabilia, model cars, and incredible stories about the exhibit vehicles. 

The 2025 exhibit will be the ninth major exhibit produced by The Ultimate Driving Museum. This year, The ALPINA:60 Years of Excellence exhibit will run from May 16, 2025 through January 17, 2026. This spectacular showcase of vehicles will transport you from the humble beginnings of ALPINA in a backyard workshop in Kaufbeuren, Germany, to the modern marvels produced alongside BMW's finest. This exhibit offers a comprehensive journey through ALPINA's history. Each car on display represents a milestone in engineering and design, highlighting the brand's commitment to excellence and performance.

The BMW CCA Foundation' mission is "Saving Lives, Saving History". This is accomplished through its two programs, Street Survival and The Ultimate Driving Museum. The Street Survival school trains thousands of teens each year life-saving driving skills. The school operates on a national basis, and has spanned generations, from grandparents, to parents, and their children. The Museum is located in South Carolina, but hosts thousands of visitors each year from all over the world. Last years exhibit was honored to host visitors from 48 states and 41 countries!
