BLOM Design Studio

BLOM Design Studio is a Greenville, SC based collaboration focused on residential design for new construction and remodels.

We draw our inspiration from Scandinavian design philosophy, focusing on creating functional and efficient spaces while emphasizing simplicity in both forms and materials. We believe that thoughtful, efficient, and beautiful design should be available to all. 

Moving to the South from Finland and combining that with a collection of varied backgrounds and areas of interest within our studio, it has given us a different perspective, and our approach to home design can be summarized as “Blending the thoughtful efficiency of Scandinavian design with the architectural vernacular of the Southeastern United States.” 

Rather than focusing on a target square footage number to meet a client’s budget goals, we learn about the client, talk through the routines of their day to day life, and design a home that meets the needs of their lifestyle. 

Our primary focuses are spacial quality, functionality, and client-centered design, and by merging the comfort and convenience of Southern home with the efficiency and simplicity of Scandinavian design, we have created a unique approach to home design in our area.
