My name is Carlos Gabriel Turpeau Ramos, professionally known as Tulpi The Barber. I am originally from Puerto Rico, but Greenville, South Carolina has been my home for the past 25 years. This city has shaped a major part of my life, my career, my family, my business vision, and my purpose. Everywhere I go, whether locally, nationally, or internationally, I proudly represent Greenville because I truly love this city and the community that has supported my journey.

As a licensed barber instructor in the State of South Carolina, master barber, entrepreneur, educator, and creator, my mission goes far beyond providing haircuts. Through Barber Gallery Suite, Tulpi The Barber, and my educational work, I have dedicated my career to delivering premium service, mentoring barbers, building professional standards, and helping others transform their talent into a real career and legacy.

My professional work includes barber education, advanced haircutting, men’s grooming, scalp micropigmentation, hair replacement, business mentorship, branding, digital marketing, and career development for barbers. I am also the founder of BarberGallery and the creator of United Multimedia, where I combine barbering, business, marketing, media, and technology to help professionals and businesses grow.

Over the years, I have had the honor of serving thousands of clients, educating barbers, collaborating with major industry brands, and representing the barber industry in different platforms and communities. My work has always been built on faith, discipline, creativity, professionalism, and a deep commitment to excellence.

At this stage of my career, one of my greatest priorities is to continue educating and guiding the next generation of barbers. I believe that young professionals need more than technical skills. They need discipline, ethics, customer service, business knowledge, confidence, leadership, and a clear vision for their future. My goal is to help barbers understand that this industry can open doors, create financial growth, build families, impact communities, and leave a legacy.

Being nominated for Best of South Carolina is a true honor because it represents years of sacrifice, service, growth, and love for Greenville.
