About
I am Kay Baker, the owner and head trainer here at Love Life Fitness Studio. My inspiration in opening this beautiful studio is the product of my life’s journey.
In my early 20’s, after my father passed away, I became very unhealthy. I suffer from anxiety, so alcohol and food became my way to cope, thus when I got married at 28, I was a size 24 and 250 pounds.
Love Life Fitness Studio is a woman-owned and run business who specializes in training and empowering women. We offer small group sessions, typically 8 members or less per class and personal training plans as well. We train the entire body through strength and cardio exercises. As a USA Boxing Certified Trainer, I am able to offer boxing sessions as well.
At 49 I opened Love Life Fitness Studio to give back. At 52, I quit corporate America, and at 55, I signed my first commercial lease to expand this vision. This dream of mine keeps growing.
We just launched this April our online Women's Training Program. These 20 minute videos are designed for perimenopause, menopause and postmenopausal women with modifications for every fitness level. This membership comes with a list of equipment you may need to be ready to go and a bonus workout each week for core work and stretch.
Our mission is to empower woman. To encourage and inspire women of all fitness levels to live a healthier, more productive lifestyle. You will feel welcomed and accepted with no judgement from the first time you walk through our doors. We are here to change lives and make a positive impact on the world.
