The Britt Event Center

The Britt Event Center is the only venue in Columbia, SC that is named in memory of  the owner’s oldest daughter Brittany, who was affectionately known as “Britt” and the venue’s main ballroom ( The Christopher) boasts over 8,000+ Square feet and is the perfect venue for hosting with Class, Sophistication and Elegance with a touch of rustic allure. This premier venue is located in Northeast Columbia convenient to I-20 and the Village at Sandhills. The Christopher Ballroom offers beautiful chandeliers featuring 23ft soaring ceilings. 

The venue offers great picture backdrops such as the open Baby Grand Piano Suite, along with custom Barn Doors with grass walls framing the left and right side of this elegant oversized rustic door with curved 5ft tall iron door handles also great for photos and selfies. Our dedicated catering lounge provides an elegant space with chandeliers and beautiful mirrors to display your caterer’s food as a beautiful area where your family and friends are served their meals. 

We didn’t forget about a spacious area for the wonderful caterers you hire for your special events…. We have a dedicated Prep Kitchen within this location with easy unloading. offers great parking, a large food The Britt also offer spacious dedicated suites for Brides, Grooms and Special Guests 

The second ballroom is the  LJ Ballroom and it features approximately 1100sqft of intimate space with iron chandeliers with crystal tear drop and matching wall sconces.  The Lj Ballroom is great for Ceremonies, intimate Baby and Bridal Showers and private dinners to name a few special events! Here at The Britt Event Center we have the options you need to make any event the talk of the town! With our In House Decor, Catering, Photography, DJ, Live Band, Planner and Day of Coordinator.
