About
Nicholas Ranko, the powerhouse behind Duke Commercial Construction, hails from Boston, MA.
In 2006, Nick enlisted in the US Marine Corps as an Engineer, tackling numerous elite engineering programs, including the prestigious Journeyman course in St. Louis, MO. He served with distinction in Iraq, and after his honorable discharge in 2010, he stormed Towson University in Maryland. There, he played Division IAA football and earned his bachelor’s degree.
Since landing in Charleston in 2013, Nick has dominated the low-country construction scene. With deep expertise in Construction Management, Land Development and New Commercial Construction. Nick earned his MBA from The Citadel in 2020, where he also served as the treasurer of The Student Veteran Association. He’s on a mission to revolutionize the industry, driving unparalleled value from the office to the field.
Nick resides downtown with his wife, Janine, and their German Shepherd, Rocky. In his downtime, he conquers golf courses, reels in fish, hunts, and dedicates himself to volunteer work.
